Chinese high-ranking military officer calls on CNS Admiral Zakaullah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Lt General Liu Sheng, Vice Chief of Equipment Development Department of Central Military Commission, China, who is on an official visit to Pakistan, called-on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah at Naval Headquarters on Thursday. During the meeting, detailed discussion were held on professional matters. Later, a comprehensive briefing on Pakistan Navy’s role in Regional Maritime Security situation and Operational Development in the Indian Ocean was also given to the visiting dignitary. During the visit, Lt General Liu Sheng is scheduled to meet Naval Field Commanders at Karachi and will also visit PN Ship. Lt General Liu Sheng, besides holding the appointment of Vice Chief of Equipment Development Department of Central Military Commission, China, has had the privilege to serve on various coveted appointments including Director General and Chief of Department of Armed and Services Equipment, General Equipment Headquarters of PLA and Chief of Overall Planning Deptt of General Equipment Headquarters, PLA. Lt General Liu Sheng is a graduate of Northwestern Polytechnical University and holds doctor’s degree in War Studies. This visit is expected to greatly enhance the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
