LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Thursday prayed for early recovery of Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif, who has tested coronavirus positive. In his statement, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that he is deeply saddened by the news of Shehbaz Sharif testing positive for coronavirus. He also prayed early recovery and expressed his sorrow over the situation. “It is very important for people that Shehbaz Sharif stays healthy,” he added. The minister hoped that Shehbaz Sharif will play his due part in fight against coronavirus after recovering his health. Earlier today, Shehbaz Sharif has tested positive for coronavirus. This report was confirmed by PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb. On the other hand, PML-N Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal and PTI MPA from Sindh Khurrum Sher Zaman have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, both leaders confirmed on their social media. “Today, when I got tested [for the coronavirus], the result came out positive,” Zaman, the president of the ruling PTI’s Karachi chapter, wrote on Twitter. “As I was unwell, I had been in quarantine for the past five days,” he noted. Iqbal, the PML-N leader, said he was quarantining himself for two weeks. “I request my friends and well-wishers to pray for my quick recovery,” Iqbal wrote on Twitter.
