Cholera affects 25,000 people in Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) - As many as 25,000 cholera patients have been reported in Punjab.

According to the Punjab Health Department, more than 1000 cases of diarrhea have been reported during last two weeks. As many as more than 1,200 patients are being reported on daily basis.

Meanwhile, more than 3700 patients of cholera have been reported during last two weeks. More than 5,000 patients were reported between March and April only from Mayo Hospital Lahore.

The Punjab Health Department has recommended boiling water before drinking. Avoid eating food from outside.
