Christmas celebrations underway across the globe

LAHORE (92 New) – Christians in Pakistan and across the globe are celebrating Christmas Day on Friday (today) with festivity and religious zeal.

Special prayers and ceremonies are being held across the country with the distribution of gifts among children, singing hymns, prayers, and attending Mass.

Special Christmas services and festivities started on the Christmas eve with mass services in the churches. The Christian community attended the services in large numbers and greeted each other.

A ceremony was held in President House which was attended by the President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

In US, an American company has announced to give all his employees US $100,000 on the occasion of Christmas.

In Russia, the spacemen were also remembered, while a space ship has reached space station carrying food and other items.

On the other, new pictures of Royal couple Prince William and Princess Kate carrying their children have been released on the occasion of Christmas.
