ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A judicial magistrate remanded CIA agent Matthew Craig Barret in the custody of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for three days on Saturday. The court ordered to produce the CIA agent again on August 9. According to the FIA officials, the accused was arrested on the charge entering Pakistan through forgery. The CIA agent was arrested from a guesthouse after being cleared from the Airport. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Ch Nisar has taken notice of and suspended the entire shift of the FIA Immigration on duty at the time of his entry. He sought a reply from the Pakistani Embassy in Houston for issuing him the visa. He has demanded a report within 24 hours. American citizen Matthew Barret was blacklisted on the charge of working for the CIA in Pakistan in 2011.
