Cipher case against PTI chairman adjourned till October 9

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Official Secret Act Special Court Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain on Wednesday adjourned the cipher case till October 9.

The hearing of the case against the PTI chairman and Shah Mahmood Qureshi was held in Adiala jail.

The FIA investigation team, prosecutor, the PTI lawyers and Zain Qureshi were also present in court. The copies of the challan were distributed among the accused.

The court is likely to frame charges against the accused on October 9. Earlier, the Law Ministry had issued a notification, saying it has no objection to the cipher case trial in jail. Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain had written a letter with regard to the trial in jail.
