Cipher case: Judicial remand of PTI chairman, Qureshi extended till Oct 10

ATTOCK (92 News) - Official Secret Act Special Court Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain extended the judicial remand of the PTI chairman and vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case till October 10.

The hearing was held in camera in Attock jail.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he did not know whether the ice has melted or not and innocent people should be released. "We have clear and satisfied conscience. We are serving sentence of the crimes that we did not commit," he maintained.

He said that there will be no importance of the elections held without the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ruled that the PTI chairman's bail plea will be heard in the open court.

In the written verdict, Chief Justice Aamer Farooq ruled that all facilities should be provided to the PTI chairman that he deserves.
