Citizens protest worst loadshedding in Lower Dir

LOWER DIR (92 News) – Citizens staged a demonstration against the worst loadshedding in the city on Thursday. The protesters, including women and children, blocked Dir-Peshawar Highway and chanted slogans against the authorities. They said that they are facing numerous problems, including water shortage, due to long power shutdown in the area. The shutdown has brought business activities to a standstill. They demanded immediate restoration of the power supply. Owing to the protest, long queues of vehicles were seen on the highway.
