KARACHI (92 News) – Citizens voluntarily removed barriers from the city after the three-day deadline set by Rangers ended on Tuesday. Rangers did not carry out operation in any part of the city after citizens cooperated and removed barriers from streets, neighborhoods and private offices. However, barriers remain outside the residences of Governor Sindh, Chief Minister, Asif Ali Zardari and Pervez Musharraf. According to sources, Sindh home department directed not to remove barriers from the area surrounding Bilawal House and residence of Pervez Musharraf. On Friday, DG Rangers Sindh appealed the citizens to remove all types of illegal barriers from the city within three days, adding that the barriers in the name of security will not be tolerated.
