Civilian martyred in Indian unprovoked firing across LoC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – At least one civilian was martyred while two children injured in an unprovoked Indian firing on civilian population in Nezapir, Rawalakot sector on Sunday. In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian forces targeted a civilian area. Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian posts which targeted civil population. Earlier, on January 28, at least three citizens including two women were injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked cease fire violations in Khuiratta, Kotli, Battal and Rawalakot sectors. Indian forces have carried out more than 70 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary in first month of this year which resulted in martyrdom of one innocent civilian and injuries to five others. The unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing since last year when its forces committed more than 1,900 ceasefire violations.
