Justice Gulzar takes oath as acting CJ as Khosa leaves for Russian tour

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa left for Russia on a seven-day official tour on Monday. Justice Gulzar Ahmed, the most senior judge, took the oath as acting CJP. Justice Shiekh Azmat Saeed administered the oath to the acting CJP. Judges, the attorney general, the advocate general and senior lawyers attended the oath-taking ceremony. Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will return to Pakistan on May 18.
