CJ Saqib Nisar says reforms in judicial system unavoidable

LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has said that reforms in the judicial system are unavoidable. Addressing a ceremony on Saturday, he said that a lot of struggle is needed to change a system. “I still consider myself a student of law,” he said. The CJ said that any person being denied justice can contact him without any hesitancy. “I can justify the suo motu notices being taken by me,” he said. He appealed to the people to cooperate for the construction of dams. “The water crisis in Pakistan is a crime, which is a foreign conspiracy. It is a foreign conspiracy to weaken Pakistan with regard to water,” he said. Meanwhile during hearing the suo motu about companies case, he remarked: “We will not allow unjustified distribution of public money. We will take back money from officers and donate it to dams’ funds.” Chief Justice Saqib Nisar said that they had not medicines in hospitals, but the officers are enjoying a luxurious life.
