ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed has taken notice of the derogatory statement by Agha Iftikharuddin Mirza, a citizen. A two-member bench will hear the case on Friday. Agha Iftikharuddin Mirza had used a contemptuous and derogatory statement against the judiciary and the judges. On Wednesday, Sarina Faez Isa, wife of Supreme Court Justice Qazi Faez Isa, had filed a complaint with Islamabad Police, stating that her family was receiving death threats. “I am the wife of Justice Qazi Faez Isa, who is a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and whom a death threat has been extended.” She wrote in her application submitted with SHO Islamabad Secretariat Police Station in person that ‘my father is very seriously ill and today is the first day I have stepped out of the house. I do not want to also lose my husband.’
