CJP holds PIA, govt responsible for coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – While hearing of a case pertaining to the appointment of Air Marshal Arshad Malik as PIA’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed held PIA and government responsible for outbreak of coronavirus in Pakistan. During the hearing on Wednesday, the chief justice has said that the country is suffering from coronavirus due to the incompetence of PIA and current government. He also remarked that the government has not taken any concrete step to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country. Justice Gulzar also stated that the coronavirus has been spread in Pakisyan through airports and borders but no one impacted. He further asserted that the situation at the quarantine centers in Pakistan is terrible as no facilities are being provided to the patients.
