CJP Mian Saqib Nisar announces to visit Tharparkar on Dec 12

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has announced to visit Tharparkar on December 12. He was hearing a suo motu notice on deaths of newborns in Tharparkar on Friday. The CJP asked the Sindh government to make arrangements and show him the area where there is poverty and problems. He also hinted at forming a committee comprising of retired judges on the issue. The CJP said that the Sindh government will have to improve conditions in Thar. Meanwhile, the Sindh government has submitted a report on death of newborns in Thar. In the report, the Sindh government stated that the second phase of provision of food had started. Additional benefits are being given to employees working in Thar, it said.
