CJP Mian Saqib Nisar says friends helped me a lot for dam fund

LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has said that his friends have helped him a lot for the dam fund. Talking exclusively to 92 News, he announced to donate Rs100,000 from his pocket to the fund. He said that bar associations are giving him cheques. “Lawyers are contributing and extending their full cooperation,” he said. The CJP said that the people contributing to the fund from abroad should trust them. “We will not beg from any country. I promise the nation that the dam will be constructed in the same way,” he added. He told 92 News that schoolchildren have also participated in the drive. “Children donated Rs 5,000 each today,” he added.
