CJP takes suo motu notice of Nehal Hashmi’s anti-judiciary speech

KARACHI (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar has taken suo motu notice of the anti-judiciary speech of PML-N Senator Nehal Hashmi.

A notice has been sent to Nehal Hashmi, directing him to appear before the Panama bench in person on Thursday.

The three-member bench hearing the Panama case will hear his case.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has suspended the party membership of Nehal Hashmi.

He was also made to resign from senator-ship.

Nehal Hashmi had threatened those holding the Sharif family accountable.
