CJP’s remarks over monarchy in country were not wrong: Khurshid Shah

SUKKUR (92 News) – Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has on Friday said that Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali’s yesterday’s statement regarding monarchy in the country was not wrong. Talking to media on the occasion of distributing offer letters for employment in Sukkur on Friday, he said that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar should fix his department as someone from inside must have leaked the news. The PPP leader said that there was nothing wrong and no one denied the report. He said that the Sindh government has recovered huge cache of weapons from Karachi but it is up to the federal government to investigate where those weapons came from. Shah said that the government of Nawaz Sharif has always given tough time to the judiciary, adding that the previous PPP government implemented all court decisions. He said that whatever remarks Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali had given yesterday were not wrong, adding that the quota system was introduced by Ziaul Haq.
