Clash in Gomal University after PU episode

DI KHAN (92 News) – After the PU clash episode, a scuffle erupted between two groups in Gomal University in Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday.

One of the student groups belonging to Islami Jamiat Taliba (IJT) arranged a talent show in the university without the permission of the university administration while the other group destroyed the girls’ camp.

The students pelted stones at each other, leading to an all-out brawl.  

Police, FC and Army were summoned upon the worsening of the situation. The police resorted to baton charging to disperse the students.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 18 students were injured as the stick-wielding activists of IJT attacked the Pashtoon Cultural Festival being held in Punjab University.
