Clients suffer as lawyers continue protest for LHC benches

FAISALABAD (92 News) – Lawyers continued their protest for the establishment of Lahore High Court (LHC) regional benches for the sixth day in three cities on Tuesday. The protesters again locked the sessions courts in Faisalabad, Sargodha and Gujranwala. They also blocked roads and tortured a biker for making a video. In Faisalabad, lawyers also forcibly expelled the employees of the District Account Office and chanted slogans for their demand. In Sargodha, the protesters also staged a sit-in outside the District Courts. A heavy contingent of police has reached the spot. They said that the establishment of a regional bench is their right. They announced to continue their boycott and protest till fulfillment of their demands. Meanwhile, clients are facing a lot of problems due to the protest of lawyers in three cities.
