CM Ch Parvez Elahi inaugurates project to provide emergency services across Punjab
LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhary Parvez Elahi on Wednesday inaugurated a project to provide emergency services across the province.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that Rescue 1122 is an institution being recognized abroad. "I think the Rescue officers near to my heart," he added.
He said that the rescue system in vogue in Pakistan is not present anywhere in the world.
Chaudhary Parvez Elahi said that he had made impossible possible by starting the rescue project. "America and England adopted our experience. I have not touched the rescue team appointed by former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif," he added.
He said that free medicines had been stopped in government hospitals and they had restarted them. "We also restored the rescue risk allowance," he added.
