CM Khattak, Imran Khan barred from visiting Hayatabad blast site
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - Security officials have barred Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak from visit the blast site in Hayatabad, 92 News reported.
The PTI leaders left for Hayatabad soon after the explosion took place outside an imambargah in Hayatabad's Phase V area. Reportedly, eight people were killed and dozens got injured in the incident.
As per details, twin explosion followed by gunfire rocked the area. The incident took place during Friday prayers.
A heavy contingent of security forces arrived at the scene to control the situation.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan strongly condemned the incident in a message posted on his official Twitter account:
