ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the CM Office could be seized if Chaudhry Parvez Elahi does not take the vote of confidence tomorrow.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the Punjab Assembly speaker stance is wrong and in violation of the rules and constitution.

"The Punjab governor could summon the assembly session. He will have to take the vote of confidence even though the session is not held. We are in contact with all allied parties," he maintained.

The minister said that Chaudhary Parvez Elahi would not continue to be chief minister. "99 percent of the parliamentary party is not in favour of the dissolution of the assembly. What will come if the no-trust motion is not tabled," he added.

He said that the assembly cannot be dissolved during such political situation. "A lunatic and stupid person is pushing the country towards an accident," he added.
