CM pays surprise visit to wheat procurement centre in Head Sulemanki

OKARA (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to a wheat procurement centre in Head Sulemanki on Saturday.

He ordered an inquiry into farmers’ complaints about unavailability of gunny bags.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that he had come to serve the farmers. “I won’t let patwari or tehsildar mafia to devour the earning of the poor farmers,” he said.

He also took a notice of changing of files.

The chief minister directed the deputy commissioner and the DPO to ensure provision of gunny bags to farmers.

He also ordered to offload wheat from parked vehicles.
