CM Punjab has constitutional authority to dissolve assembly: Governor Baligh Ur Rehman

LAHORE (92 News) - Governor Punjab Baligh Ur Rehman has said that he will not put any obstacle in the advice of Chief Minister Pervez Elahi to dissolve the assembly.

CPNE delegation met Governor Punjab Baligh Ur Rehman on Saturday. During the conversation, he said that the Chief Minister of Punjab has the constitutional authority to dissolve the assembly.

Governor Baligh Ur Rehman said that if CM Chaudhry Pervez Elahi gave advice to dissolve the assembly, he would act immediately. Never created any obstacle for the Punjab government on the basis of political affiliation. Has always had a working relationship with Parvez Elahi.
