CM Punjab reviews eco friendly electric tramway project

LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has reviewed eco friendly electric tramway project.

CM Punjab chaired a meeting of high level officials of the project. He reviewed the progress of elevated express way project from Gulberg to Motorway M-2. He instructed to start project on priority bases.

He said that reaching Motorway would become easier for citizens. “Multan Road and Canal Road will have less load of traffic with the construction of elevated express. Interchanges will be made on Canal Bank Road, Jail Road, Ferozpur Road, Multan Road and Bund Road.”

Usman Buzdar said that elevated expressway will be constructed from Canal Bank Road, Jail Road, Ferozpur Road, Multan Road, Bund Road to Babu Sabu. “Citizens will have a massive facility in transportation with the construction of elevated express way,” he added.

DG LDA Ahmed Aziz Tarrar also gave briefing about the project. Provisional Advisor Doctor Salman Shah, additional chief secretary, chairman for planning and development, principal secretary CM, secretary housing, DG PMA and other relevant officials were also present.
