LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that the political and military leader is determined to eliminate menace of terrorism from the country. Addressing the third passing-out parade of the Punjab Counter-Terrorism Force batch ceremony in Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the Counter-Terrorism Force, Punjab Police and other law enforcement agencies are working in coordination to implement National Action Plan. He said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif achieved many successes and eliminated terrorists in the country. Shahbaz Sharif said merit has been ensured in recruitment of Counter-Terrorism Force, and hoped the new recruits will play their effective role in rooting out the menace of terrorism from the country. Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Sukhera said that we do not need to protect ourselves after Muzaffargarh incident, the Counter-Terrorism Department will continue to safeguard country from terrorism, adding that the scrutiny of Afghan nationals is also under process. Counter-Terrorism Force presented guard of honour to the chief minister. The third batch of Punjab Counter-Terrorism Force comprising 332 personnel including 34 women passed out today. The passed out women officers of Counter-Terrorism Force said that the terrorists must know they are the antivirus, if terrorists think they are they spread across the country.
