KARACHI (92 News) – The CNG stations across Sindh, including Karachi, will remain closed on Monday. According to the reports, the decision was taken by the gas load management. CNG stations will remain close from 8am Monday for 24 hours across Sindh including Karachi. The gas supply to CNG stations will remain closed from 8:00am on Monday to 8:00am on Tuesday. CNG stations reopened after three days across Sindh
On Feb 10, CNG stations have been reopened across Sindh after being shut for three days.

According to the details, CNG stations were shut down at 10pm on Thursday for 36 hours but the Sui Southern Gas Company had extended the suspension for another 24 hours to facilitate domestic consumers in the province. CNG stations resumed operations at 8am.

The long lines of vehicles seen on Sunday morning after CNG stations opened in Karachi and other parts of Sindh after 58 hours long shutdown. The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced shutdown of compressed natural gas (CNG) stations across Sindh on Saturday (yesterday). The company’s spokesman said the decision had been taken to fulfill the demand of domestic and commercial customers. On Tuesday, the SSGC had suspended gas supply to all the CNG stations for 36 hours. However, it was again interrupted after 14 hours on Thursday morning. The SSGC said it was facing a shortfall of 300 million cubic feet per day of gas, resulting in lower gas pressure for domestic consumers as well. The gas company chief urged industries to close the factories in industrial zones two days in a week due to gas crisis. The industries’ bodies refused to accept the gas company’s demand of two days’ off in a week. The industrialists, however, have assured the gas utility that all seven industrial zones will be completely closed on Sunday.
CNG stations to remain closed across Sindh
All CNG stations will remain closed across Sindh. The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited has issued a schedule. According to the spokesman, CNG stations will remain closed on February 6 and 8. The gas shutdown duration will be 24 hours. According to the SSGC, the schedule of CNG load-shedding was revised by the SSGC, according to which the gas supply would be halted until tomorrow. The emergency step was taken on behalf of gas crisis for the consumers in the houses. This help to fulfill the needs of consumers in the houses.
