CNG stations closed in KPK for fifth day, affecting transportation

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Compressed natural gas (CNG) has been closed in all over the province for fifth day while transporters have increased fares.

Daily routine life and business activities face difficulties due to unavailability of CNG. On the request of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) district administration has issued instructions of closing CNG stations till January 20. This decision has been taken to ensure provision of gas to domestic consumers.

Taxi and rickshaw service also got affected. Many car owners have stopped driving due to closure of CNG stations.
