KARACHI (92 News) – All Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations once again closed across Sindh including Karachi due to gas crisis on Friday morning. According to the details garnered, the CNG stations opened yesterday night 10pm and long queues of vehicles were witnessed outside the CNG stations that were reopened after a long break. Due to the low pressure of gas, the domestic users faced troubles and not able to cook food at homes. The CNG stations once closed at 6am Friday morning and the supply will then resume again on Sunday for 12-hours. The SSGC stated that the low gas pressure for the continuous closure of the gas stations in the province, especially in Karachi. Earlier, the closure of CNG stations was extended for further 24 hours across the city. Filling stations will open at 8am on Thursday. According to Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited (SSGPL), domestic and commercial consumers are facing problems due to less quantity of gas being provided from fielders. In Punjab, especially Lahore, domestic consumers are facing agony due to the gas crisis continuing for last several days. Women are unable to make food at home due to suspension of the gas supply. People are forced to purchase food from hotels at exorbitant rates.
