ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The coalition government on Monday rejected demand of PTI chairman Imran Khan for early election in the country.

A joint declaration issued by the coalition government stated that the government allies will decide about the conduct of the elections.

"We will not allow a group to impose its decision on the basis of the power. Those taking the law into their hands will be dealt with an iron hand," it added.

The declaration said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will make the appointment of the new army chief as per constitution, not on the dictation of the 'foreign funded Fitna'. "The objective of targeting secret agencies, the CEC and others is black-mailing. A man deprived of power is deliberately targeting the state institutions," it added.

The declaration said that the top priority of the government is revival of economy and rehabilitation of the flood-hit people.
