COAS Asim Munir briefs PM Shehbaz Sharif about law and order situation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at PM House on Thursday.

According to sources, the COAS briefed the prime minister about the law and order situation.

During the meeting, it was decided to call a meeting of the National Security Committee on Friday. During the NSC meeting, it will be discussed to control the recent wave of terrorism in the country.

The army officers will brief the meeting about the Afghan border situation. Moreover, the National Security Committee will be briefed about  the implementation of the National Action Plan.
