COAS Asim Munir, Chinese minister review progress on CPEC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - A high-level Chinese delegation led by Minister of Central Committee of the International Department of Communist Party of China (IDCPC) Liu Jianchao called on Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir at General Headquarters on Friday.

According to the ISPR, they reviewed progress on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during the meeting. They also discussed matters of mutual interest as well regional peace and stability.

The Chinese minister expressed his satisfaction over the progress on CPEC. He reiterated China’s resolve to complete the CPEC project on time.

Liu Jianchao said that he was visiting Pakistan after his successful meetings in China.
