COAS Asim Munir, Iranian CGS Maj Gen Mohammad Bagheri agree to enhance bilateral defence ties
TEHRAN (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, who is on a two-day official visit to Iran, called on Iranian Chief of General Staff for the Armed Forces Maj Gen Mohammad Bagheri on Saturday.
During the meeting, they agreed to enhance bilateral relations in different sectors, including defence, security and education. They also exchanged views on historical relations between both countries.
COAS Asim Munir also visited the Iranian Armed Forces Headquarters. On his arrival, he was welcomed by Chief of General Staff for the Armed Forces Gen Mohammad Bagheri.
