COAS attends dinner hosted by Pakistani High Commission in London

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa is has on Tuesday visited Pakistani High Commission in London, United Kingdom.

In a statement issued by the ISPR, Pakistan High Commission organized a dinner in honor of General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The dinner was attended by the British political and social personalities.

Addressing the Pakistani community, COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan Army has eliminated menace of terrorism from the country.

He went on to say that Operation Raadul Fasaad has achieved great strides.

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is on official visit to the United Kingdom, visited the British Ministry of Defense London.

The Army Chief had separate meetings with UK Chief of Defense Staff Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan Owen Jenkins and US Resolute Support Mission Commander General John Nicholson.

The UK leadership and RSM Commander appreciated positive role played by Pakistan towards peace and stability in Afghanistan.

The COAS emphasized that peace in Afghanistan is a shared interest; Pakistan will continue its positive role and is ready to work closely with Afghanistan.
