COAS, Australian FM discuss bilateral ties

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop on Thursday visited General Headquarters (GHQ) called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif. According to a press release by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest including defence and security cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting. Australian Foreign Minister appreciated the successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and sacrifices rendered by Pakistani security forces in the operation. She also appreciated Pakistani efforts of security forces towards regional stability.
