ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Saturnday telephoned new deputy Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naef and felicitated him on assuming the new responsibility. According to ISPR, matters of mutual interest were discussed along with congratulations. Earlier, King Salman appointed his nephew, Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, as crown prince. The king's son, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was made deputy crown prince and the foreign minister, Prince Saud al-Faisal was replaced. King Salman, 78, acceded to the throne in January after the death of his half-brother Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
