COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa calls on Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin on Monday. According to the ISPR, they discussed matters of mutual interest, including defence cooperation between both countries. The COAS also called on Brunei Deputy Defence Minister Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi and commander of Land Forces and Royal Air Force. Matters of mutual interest including bilateral defence cooperation and military to military ties between both the countries discussed. The political and military leadership of Brunei acknowledged Pakistan’s achievements in fight against terrorism and efforts for regional peace and stability.
