COAS Gen Raheel Sharif arrives in China on day long visit

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has on Wednesday arrived China’s Urumqi for a day long visit. During the visit, COAS Gen Raheel Sharif held meetings with Chinese Chief of General Staff Gen Fang of People Liberation Army and discussed military to military relations, bilateral security cooperation and all dimension of long term CPEC security. The COAS also held separate meeting with Party Secretary Xinkiang province Zhang Chun Xian in Urumqi. During the meeting, matters pertaining to Pak-China bilateral relations and regional security issue with particular reference to CPEC completion and security were also discussed.
