COAS Gen Raheel Sharif leaves for Shawal to review land operation

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has on Thursday left for visit to Shawal area of North Waziristan. According to a statement issued by the ISPR, Gen Raheel Sharif will meet the soldiers participating in the North Waziristan operation. The army chief will also review ongoing military operation after launch of ground offensive against the militants.
