COAS Gen Raheel Sharif pays farewell visit to ISI headquarters

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – COAS Raheel Sharif presides over a farewell Corps Commander Conference at GHQ on Monday. The COAS-designate Qamar Javed Bajwa also participated in the conference. Speaking on the occasion, COAS General Raheel Sharif said that successes could not be achieved without the cooperation of the corps commanders. “I am proud of leading the best army in the world,” he said. Earlier, COAS General Raheel Sharif paid a farewell visit to Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) Headquarters in Islamabad. On the occasion, a ceremony was held to honor the outgoing COAS Gen Raheel Sharif. Addressing the ceremony, Gen Raheel Sharif appreciated the services of ISI for the defense of the country and war against terrorism. He also paid a rich tribute to the services of ISI officials and personnel.
