COAS Gen Raheel Sharif visits Waziristan today

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will visit South and North Waziristan today on invitation of local tribes. In a statement issued by the ISPR, the COAS will inaugurate important development projects in Waziristan during the visit. General Raheel Sharif will be visiting on the invitation of local tribes of the area. Previously, the COAS paid glowing tributes to the martyred jawans and directed the Army jawans to give a vigorous response to the enemy. COAS General Raheel Sharif and high-ranking officers also attended the funeral of seven army soldiers martyred in unprovoked firing by the Indian forces. Speaking on the occasion, he said that no stone will be left unturned to defend the motherland.
