COAS lauds achievements of PAF, PAC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra. The army chief was briefed about ongoing projects. COAS Bajwa lauded achievements of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and PAC towards attaining self-reliance and international standards in all its projects. A day earlier, British High Commissioner (HC) to Pakistan Dr Christian Turner called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS Bajwa welcomed Dr Christian Turner to Pakistan and wished him well for the assignment. During the meeting, the matters pertaining to mutual interest and regional security came under discussion. COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the strike corps during its winter collective training near Bahawalpur. According to a press release issued on Thursday, the COAS witnessed training exercise for conduct of trans-frontier offensive operations. Fighter aircraft of Pakistan Air Force and contingent of Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) also participated in the exercise. The COAS appreciated high standards of training displayed by all participants, including PAF. He especially hailed participation and display of high standard of training by the RSLF contingent.
