COAS lauds efforts of ANF in controlling drug trafficking in country

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has lauded the efforts of Anti-Narcotics Force in controlling the drug trafficking in the country.
The COAS expressed these views during his visit to Anti-Narcotics Force Headquarters.
Interacting with the officers and staff, General Bajwa said that drug peddlers and those involved in its production are a threat to national security and relentless enemies of humanity.
He said that drug money is being used for promotion of terrorism and; therefore, it is important that narcotics dealers are dealt with iron hands.
On the occasion, the Army Chief was given a detailed operational brief regarding genesis of ANF and its contributions for controlling drug-trafficking in Pakistan.
