COAS reaches Lahore; summons meeting

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has on Tuesday reached Lahore following yesterday’s massive suicide blast in a vegetable market in Lahore which left 26 people including police personnel dead and dozens others injured. COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has summoned an important meeting. Sources said that, matters pertaining to suicide blast in a vegetable market in Lahore and security situation will come under discussion. Corps Commander Lahore and Punjab Rangers Director General will also attend the meeting.
