COAS pays tribute to martyred Additional IG KP

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has on Friday paid salute to supreme sacrifice of Additional IG KP Muhammad Ashraf Noor. In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS said that the nation's determination against threats to motherland will remain undeterred. Earlier, Additional Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Ashraf Noor and his gunman were martyred and five people injured in a bomb blast in Hayatabad area of Peshawar on Friday morning. According to police, the terrorists targeted the vehicle of the Additional IG. The injured have been shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex.
