COAS Qamar Bajwa, PM Abdul Qayyum Niazi discuss IIOJ&K and LOC situation

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian unilateral illegal measures in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, situation along the Line of Control were discussed during the meeting.

On the occasion, General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Syed Ali Gilani. He said that Syed Ali Gilani had  made a historic and selfless struggle for the right of Kashmiris to self-determination. "The Pakistan Army will continue to fully support the Kashmiri people."

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa assured Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi that the Pakistan Army is committed to the Kashmir cause. He congratulated the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on assuming the new responsibility and wished him well for the prosperity of Kashmir.

According to ISPR, Sardar Abdul Qayyum appreciated the services of Pakistan Army for the security and development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
