COAS Raheel Sharif vows to accomplish mission of eliminating terrorism at all costs

RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday visited Tilla Ranges near Jhelum and witnessed culmination of large-scale maneuver exercises by formations of Central Command in near real environments. The COAS appreciated the professional skills and motivation of troops involved in the exercises. Talking to the troops, General Raheel Sharif said Pakistan Army is fully prepared to deter and defeat any form of aggression across the entire spectrum of threat. He emphasized that the nation was firmly standing alongside its armed forces to root out menace of terrorism from the country. “We will not stop without accomplishing our mission, irrespective of the cost.” The COAS directed troops to fully focus on training and professional pursuits as strenuous training and highest standard of preparedness in peacetime were the only guarantors of peace.
