COAS says Pakistani nation has given innumerable sacrifices for peace

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Tuesday that our nation has given innumerable sacrifices for attainment of peace. According to the Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), General Qamar Javed Bajwa interacted with participants of 3rd National Security Workshop Balochistan at GHQ. The interaction is part of three weeks workshop being held at Quetta. In his address, the COAS said that the nation has given innumerable sacrifices for attainment of peace. “Our internal and external challenges demand a comprehensive national response and Army, in coordination with other institutions of the state, is fully engaged in enabling that response,” he said. The COAS said that the prosperity of Pakistan is linked with prosperity of Balochistan. The ISPR said the participants thanked COAS Gen Bajwa for holding the security workshop, saying that they feel reinvigorated to play their part in national development. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgIM_BN0YfU#action=share   A day earlier, Saudi Arabia Tabuk province Governor Prince Fahad Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The ISPR said that the matters of mutual interests including regional security situation came under discussion during the meeting held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. Speaking to the National Assembly, Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif termed that the government is receiving financial aid from foreign countries due to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa not of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He also thanked the friendly countries for providing loans, saying that they supported Pakistan during tough time.
