COAS takes PM into confidence over Kalbhushan Jadhav issue

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday.

He took the prime minister into confidence over the Kalbhushan Jadhav issue.

The prime minister said that they will achieve the targets of purging the country of terrorism.

“The sacrifices of jawans are unforgettable,” he maintained.

Nawaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the gains of operation Raddul Fasaad.

The COAS and the PM discussed matters related to professional preparedness of Pak Army, current security and border situation.

Gen Bajwa informed the prime minister about the progress made in the ongoing operation Raddul Fasaad.

He also lauded the role of armed forces for their sacrifices rendered in achieving the goal of peace in the country.
